GBA-shaped pixels or a handheld you fold between sessions?

Start with the selected RG34XX at $149.99 when you want a horizontal, digital-control handheld and its source-listed 720×480, 3:2 panel makes full-panel 3× presentation of a 240×160 GBA image your priority. Start with the selected RG35XXSP when you specifically want a folding digital-control routine: its 64G(5K Games) option is $129.99, its explicit no-games entry is $119.99, and its 64G With Bag is $139.99. The actual games, software, preparation and saving must fit either choice.

The $20 comparison between the two named 64G-labelled offers is a whole-package difference, not a price for sharper pixels, a tested speed upgrade or equivalent installed libraries. Both descriptions attribute H700 and 1GB RAM to their model sources. RG34XX's pixel grid and SP's lid answer different practical questions; neither changes that source hardware into a benchmark.

For a GBA-first collection with a wanted horizontal grip and integer presentation, RG34XX is our conditional starting route. For someone who values opening and closing a screen more than matching the full grid, SP can be the deliberate lower-price choice. Its advertised 3.5-inch panel does not automatically give a much larger GBA picture than RG34XX's 3.4-inch panel.

Reviewed October 10, 2026 by iGameConsole Editorial Team. Complete records include ten RG34XX and 21 SP variants; both descriptions and relevant adjacent article bodies were read. Specific originals and all four final figures were viewed. Source specifications, mathematical examples and editorial illustrations remain separate from current-unit tests.

Jump to pixel mapping, actual picture-size arithmetic, the folding routine, all RG34XX options, all SP options or direct answers.

1. Choose the game routine before the nostalgic shape

A creature adventure, a turn-based journey or a familiar platform stage can make a personal handheld appealing. Translate the interest into an exact release, platform and language. A franchise can span several screen ratios, controller requirements and software routes; recognizing a character is not enough to choose the device.

For a GBA-focused routine, name what you repeatedly do: move through a world, choose commands, read dialogue, use shoulders, save and reopen. A source-matched 3:2 grid can be a positive reason to investigate RG34XX. The pleasure of folding an SP between breaks can be another real preference, even when the underlying game tasks are similar.

Distinguish indispensable requirements from experiments. If almost every wanted session is digital-led, an imaginary future twin-stick game need not dominate the purchase. If one essential title truly needs another input or more compute capability, resolve it before choosing either digital front.

This comparison helps a buyer who already likes classic digital play decide between presentation and form. It does not certify every GBA title, promise a supplied collection or make either device the right choice for every retro interest.

2. Both fronts are digital-led; only one folds

The viewed RG34XX indigo reference places the screen between a left D-pad and four right face buttons. Two small controls sit lower left, and a speaker grille sits lower right. No front analog sticks appear in that reference. The lighter D-pad and contrasting face-button colors are part of the particular pictured finish.

The viewed silver SP reference puts the display in a hinged upper lid and controls on the lower deck: a D-pad and four face buttons in circular recesses, a small Menu control, speaker perforations and two round lower system buttons. It also has no pictured front sticks. The source shows shoulder controls toward the hinge side.

This is therefore not a digital-versus-stick purchase. It is a fixed horizontal body versus a clamshell body, alongside their different source display grids and selected preparations. Do not import the Pro's two-stick argument or the H's horizontal-stick arrangement into these devices.

Reference appearance does not establish switch force, latency, hinge lifespan or universal comfort. Choose the actual arrangement you want, then confirm how its repeated control sequence behaves in your game and software.

3. Why 720×480 matters to a 240×160 GBA picture

RG34XX's current description and inspected display artwork list 3.4-inch IPS, 720×480, 3:2 and OCA lamination. A 240×160 picture multiplied by three becomes 720×480. That gives a straightforward full-panel integer-mapping possibility when the software uses the intended viewport and settings.

In that example, each original pixel can occupy a 3×3 block. The important phrase is can: the delivered emulator, overlays, filtering and aspect settings still need to be identified. A panel specification does not prove that the exact configuration arrives in your preferred mode.

SP's source lists 3.5-inch IPS at 640×480, a 4:3 grid. A 2× GBA image is 480×320, leaving room around it. A larger aspect-preserved fit is possible in suitable software, but it uses non-integer sampling rather than matching every source pixel to one equal whole-number block.

Neither multiplier adds original game detail or changes processor speed. A 3× display mapping does not mean three times faster play, better file compatibility or a more complete library. It answers the useful presentation question, not all the other buying questions.

Calculated GBA mappings, not observed delivered settings
Example Picture grid Panel relationship Condition
RG34XX integer 3× 720×480 Matches listed full grid Correct viewport, integer mode and suitable filtering
SP integer 2× 480×320 Borders inside 640×480 Correct centered mode without a different overlay
SP maximum 3:2 fit 640×approximately 427 Width filled, vertical room Non-integer sampling; renderer rounding varies

4. Borders are not a compatibility failure

A centered 480×320 image inside 640×480 leaves 160 unused pixels in each dimension. In the simple centered example, that means 80 pixels on each side and 80 above and below. Software decorations can occupy some of that space, but do not change the source-image arithmetic.

Those borders can be the deliberate outcome of choosing equal-sized integer blocks. They are not proof that the game cannot run, that SP is damaged or that the screen should be stretched. Preserving original proportions may be more important to you than filling the entire rectangle.

A full-width 3:2 fit on SP would have a mathematical height of 426.67 pixels before practical rounding. It gives a larger image than 2×, with a different sampling tradeoff. Compare that actual mode rather than pretending integer 2× is SP's only possible presentation.

Ask to see the wanted field, dialogue and menu in the relevant setup. Do not use generated art to evaluate pixel uniformity. A clean illustration introduces the playing interest; real presentation evidence answers which mode you prefer.

5. The GBA picture is not automatically larger on SP

Diagonal and width are different dimensions. Using the advertised panel sizes and ratios, RG34XX's 3.4-inch 3:2 rectangle is approximately 2.83 inches wide. SP's 3.5-inch 4:3 rectangle is approximately 2.80 inches wide. The nominally larger diagonal does not create a substantially wider GBA picture.

At maximum aspect-preserved width, the calculated 3:2 image diagonal is 3.40 inches on RG34XX and approximately 3.37 inches on SP. These are source-assumption geometry examples, not measurements of the actual active panels or installed viewports.

SP's bordered 2× example has an estimated 2.52-inch picture diagonal. Comparing that specific mode with RG34XX's full-panel 3× gives a different physical result. Keep the settings attached: it is not a universal claim that every SP GBA picture is 2.52 inches.

Keep scaling mode with every physical-size comparison
Source-based example Estimated GBA image diagonal What it tells you
RG34XX full-panel 3× 3.40 inches Matching grid and whole-number pixel blocks
SP maximum aspect-preserved fit 3.37 inches Nearly similar width with non-integer sampling
SP centered integer 2× 2.52 inches Smaller occupied view with whole-number blocks

Neither calculation ranks brightness, contrast, response time or your ability to read. If substantially larger text is essential, investigate a genuinely larger physical display rather than expecting a 0.1-inch panel-label difference to solve it.

6. A mixed collection changes which panel shape you value

GBA's 3:2 interest is a strong reason to investigate RG34XX. A collection that repeatedly uses an appropriate 4:3 presentation can make SP's listed 4:3 panel more relevant. The frequency and importance of the actual views should drive the choice, not how many platform icons appear in a poster.

For an ideal aspect-preserved 4:3 picture, SP uses its full listed panel. On RG34XX's 3:2 rectangle, that picture uses the height and leaves horizontal room. Different source pixel formats can also need intended-aspect correction, so do not force every home-console or arcade image into a single ratio by rule.

An occasional alternate game need not outweigh a strongly preferred GBA routine. Conversely, a regularly used map, command screen or text interface may deserve more weight than an attractive opening stage. Compare the scenes you will actually revisit.

More storage cannot change a physical panel into another shape. A scaler can fit, stretch or crop a picture, but those are presentation choices, not newly supported systems or a documented processing upgrade.

Hands holding a silver RG35XXSP with illustrative platform-action screen art
A direction-and-jump session in the open SP puts its digital deck and upper screen into context. The active art is illustrative, not recorded gameplay or a measurement of hand comfort.

7. Give the folding form a real everyday job

SP's upper screen folds toward its lower control deck. That can suit an owner who enjoys the rhythm of opening the device for a break and closing it when putting it away. It is a positive form preference, not merely a cheaper substitute for the RG34XX view.

Separate three events: ending the game session, handling software safely and closing the body. You can value the folding shape without assuming that closure saves progress, stops storage writes or shuts down the installed system.

The source advertises a Hall magnetic lid switch associated with sleep and wake behavior. That is a lid-sensing claim, not a Hall-effect joystick claim. Current software and the running emulator determine how an actual interruption is handled; no complete resume result is established here.

If frequent short interruptions are the reason to choose SP, test that exact routine with low-stakes progress. The benefit is the understood sequence you repeat, not an unsupported promise of instant resume, zero drain or automatic save protection.

8. A fixed horizontal body also offers a deliberate routine

RG34XX keeps the screen between your hands without a lid-opening step. A player who specifically likes a classic horizontal silhouette can prefer that arrangement even when SP costs less. The choice does not need a fabricated claim that one hinge is unreliable or one body is universally superior.

Consider moving between the D-pad, face buttons and shoulders during a real sequence. The reference shows the layout; it does not measure hand reach or actuation quality. A familiar-looking shell may appeal while a particular repeated combination still needs personal evaluation.

Putting RG34XX away requires protecting its exposed display and controls appropriately. SP's lid also is not a certified protective case. Neither current selected offer supplies independently verified dimensions, packing or a universal pocket-fit result for this comparison.

Choose a body that serves the way you start and stop play. That could mean a familiar horizontal hold at home, or an open-and-close object between breaks. Physical preference is a real buying reason when it stays separate from unsupported comfort and durability scores.

9. Compare the playing posture, not just open photographs

A folding screen can change the relationship between your viewing angle and the lower deck. A fixed screen changes angle with the whole device. Neither relationship establishes a comfortable posture for every chair, hand size or viewing distance.

For SP, evaluate the supported open position, screen visibility and repeated shoulder reach. Do not force the hinge to match a promotional drawing or infer a calibrated holding angle from the artwork. Source material and cycle-life slogans are not mechanical tests.

For RG34XX, evaluate the grip you use while reading, moving and pressing combinations. A static hold does not reveal whether you repeatedly shift to reach a shoulder. Its screen grid does not measure directional accuracy.

When practical access to the actual device is available, use the same relevant task on both. Otherwise keep the preference provisional. This guide provides source-layout context, not a paired ergonomics study or a promise that one design prevents fatigue.

10. Story games need useful text, not only attractive battles

A story campaign involves dialogue, inventories and choices as well as the dramatic scene that made you want the game. Check populated menus and ordinary text in the intended language. A large generated creature or bright platform stage is not readability evidence.

RG34XX's matching grid can appeal when you want integer pixels without unused panel area. SP can offer a larger non-integer fit than its 2× mode, or an integer picture with borders. The preference concerns actual fonts, filters, viewports and distance, not a universal sharpness ranking.

Do not assume more panel pixels add new lines to the original game or translate an unfamiliar language. The original content remains the original content. Software menus and overlays can also differ from the game's own interface.

If the essential requirement is large text rather than classic compact form, broaden the shortlist. Neither another color, a New prefix nor a bag bundle makes these source-listed small panels a substantially larger reading display.

11. Digital action is a complete requirement, not a lesser one

A platform stage may require holding direction while jumping, reversing quickly, using a shoulder and pausing at the right point. A command menu may require deliberate separate taps. These are meaningful control tasks even when no analog stick is needed.

Both pictured fronts give a digital-control route to investigate. Check diagonals, simultaneous actions and the required shoulders in your actual game. The layout alone does not establish input delay, button force, switch noise or competition suitability.

If a particular release needs an analog range, touch, motion or another special input, investigate a complete supported route before either becomes the recommendation. A remapping possibility is not automatically full reproduction of the original control behavior.

Do not pay for a different panel or fold merely to avoid an unresolved input requirement. Conversely, do not dismiss either digital front because a modern controller has more controls. The game you actually want decides what is essential.

12. Shared H700 wording does not make this a speed-upgrade comparison

Both full descriptions attribute H700, quad-core Cortex-A53 at 1.5GHz, G31 MP2 graphics and 1GB RAM to their model sources. Those are useful source specifications, not independent teardowns or paired current-unit results.

They remove an automatic reason to call the more expensive RG34XX a higher performance tier. They also do not establish identical boards, emulator builds, sustained behavior or results in every title. The actual software, renderer, settings and workload matter.

720×480 describes a panel grid; 64G describes package storage wording; 1GB describes source-listed working memory. A different figure in one category does not enlarge another category. Bag wording adds no listed CPU or RAM upgrade.

For a demanding must-play release, ask for the exact device, emulator, settings and meaningful scene. Neither a higher resolution nor a folding lid certifies whole-platform smooth play, PSP performance, touch-dependent DS tasks or modern-console compatibility.

13. Every selected RG34XX option is $149.99

Complete ten-choice Color field, exact names retained
Exact Color value USD selling price Interpretation
Indigo 64G $149.99 Exact selected appearance and capacity label
New Glacier 64G $149.99 New does not certify a revised panel
Glacier 64G $149.99 Do not rename as opaque white
New Black 64G $149.99 No New surcharge listed
New TR Green 64G $149.99 Preserve the complete identifier
Black 64G $149.99 Not a faster black tier
New Indigo 64G $149.99 Current difference from plain name unestablished
TR Green 64G $149.99 Appearance and preparation remain separate
New TR Red 64G $149.99 No audited library follows from New
TR Red 64G $149.99 Same listed price as the other names

This exact offer has one Color selector, not a separate Bundle ladder. All ten values end in 64G, and none specifies a game total. Another RG34XX URL's card tiers, preparation or accessory list do not belong to these ten options.

Five values begin with New and five do not. Equal prices and a prefix establish neither a component upgrade nor identical production batches. If the distinction is important, name the two exact values and the characteristic you want confirmed.

The viewed overview shows indigo, black and pale, red and green translucent-looking directions. It does not identify every current New/plain pair. Choose the exact actual finish; Glacier should not be redrawn as opaque white merely to satisfy a different white-SKU preference.

14. All 21 SP color-and-bundle combinations

Seven exact colors, three separately named packages
Color 32G(0 Games) 64G(5K Games) 64G With Bag
Blue $119.99 $129.99 $139.99
Grey $119.99 $129.99 $139.99
Silver $119.99 $129.99 $139.99
Black $119.99 $129.99 $139.99
Green $119.99 $129.99 $139.99
Red $119.99 $129.99 $139.99
White $119.99 $129.99 $139.99

The entire selected connection contains those 21 combinations. Each color shares the same three selling prices. The exact spelling Grey belongs to this selector, and Silver and White are separate values. Their names alone do not settle every current shell's transparency or shade.

32G(0 Games) explicitly sets a no-games expectation. It does not by itself certify an empty operating-system card: boot files, emulators and required preparation need separate confirmation. Choose it deliberately when self-preparation is part of your plan.

64G(5K Games) is a content-labelled option, not an audited manifest of unique working titles. 64G With Bag names a different package without a quantity in its label. Confirm the actual bag, software and carton instead of transferring its neighbor's 5K wording.

15. Explain $30, $20 or $10 before treating it as value

Three complete-offer comparisons, not isolated component prices
Named comparison Difference Useful meaning
RG34XX 64G $149.99 minus SP 32G(0 Games) $119.99 $30 Different model and explicitly different preparation label
RG34XX 64G $149.99 minus SP 64G(5K Games) $129.99 $20 Two 64G-labelled offers, not verified matched media or libraries
RG34XX 64G $149.99 minus SP 64G With Bag $139.99 $10 Different combined carrying and model offer
SP first to middle / middle to top $10 / $10 Package names change; no listed processor upgrade

A meaningful RG34XX reason is: I want its horizontal GBA-shaped full-grid presentation and the actual setup fits. A meaningful SP reason is: I want the folding digital routine and its confirmed package covers my needs. Either is clearer than declaring the more expensive model automatically better.

Do not advertise a universal $20 difference beside a CTA that silently uses SP's $119.99 entry. Keep the selected name and price with each route. Matching 64G does not establish the same physical card, usable space, firmware or accessories.

These are USD base selling prices, not proof of historical discounts or identical delivered totals. Current selected amounts and destination-specific checkout determine the purchase. A lower-price SP route is not inferior merely because it has a lower number.

Hands holding an indigo RG34XX with illustrative adventure art at a cafe table
A familiar adventure in a café-style break gives the fixed horizontal form an everyday role. The reused scene is illustrative; its pouch is not a package inclusion and the hold is not a measured comfort result.

16. Preparation can matter more than either physical difference

Identify the actual installed build, physical media, desired files and first-session steps for the selected configuration. A nominal storage label cannot tell you whether the owner will understand the menus, find the wanted release or preserve ordinary progress.

For SP's explicit no-games option, preparation is part of the decision. For its content-labelled option, establish the relevant inventory instead of assuming thousands of menu entries solve the brief. For RG34XX, current names contain no game quantity at all.

A focused set of known favorites can make the device easier to enjoy. Confirm the edition, language, emulator, controls and save route, rather than selecting the broadest unknown library. A working launcher is not a representative game result.

When buying for someone else, identify whether they welcome configuring files or expect an understood first session. That expectation can affect package choice more than the difference between an integer pixel block and a folding lid.

17. The chosen software makes the presentation useful

Both sources identify a Linux-based retro gaming direction. Neither establishes a named current distribution and version across every selected option. Do not assume ArkOS, muOS or another build merely because a heading, icon or similar family model mentions it.

If integer presentation is the main reason to buy RG34XX, identify the emulator, scale, viewport, aspect correction, overlay and filter. If SP's open-and-close routine is the reason, identify supported saving, exit and any lid behavior. Those are different software questions.

Similar H700 wording does not establish interchangeable whole system cards or firmware images. Preserve a working setup and valuable supported saves before changes; follow instructions for the actual model. This comparison is not a flashing procedure.

A correctly chosen body remains useful only when its actual setup serves the games. More storage, a newer-looking label or a clean screen illustration cannot supply an unidentified build or establish a specific feature.

18. Ordinary saves, states, suspension and closure are different

For a long campaign, test a small ordinary save where the game supports one, use the system's supported exit procedure, restart normally and reopen. The purpose is to understand your actual progress route before investing many hours.

An emulator state records another kind of information. Suspension pauses a running setup where supported. Closing a lid physically changes the enclosure. Neither state nor suspension should be presented as the same action as a native game save.

On SP, establish how the build behaves when the lid closes during the relevant emulator. Do not infer that a blank screen means all writes are finished, progress is secured or power draw is zero. On RG34XX, do not treat a system button as a universal instant safe shutdown.

The right routine is the one you can repeat and explain. A travel or gift recommendation should include that understanding without inventing perfect resume behavior or guaranteed save portability across builds.

19. Keep file presence, game quality and image roles separate

An option-specific inventory can establish files when it is actually documented. Launching the exact release establishes another layer. Controls, sound, ordinary saving and meaningful play establish more. A count label or one attractive screen does not replace that sequence.

For disc-based or arcade interests, relevant formats, emulator versions and any necessary authorized system files can matter. A card with more nominal capacity cannot correct an incompatible format or reproduce an absent controller feature.

The figures in this guide are viewed, reference-based editorial illustrations with varied playing and everyday roles. They are not captured commercial-game sessions, a supplied-title manifest, pixel calibration or device tests. The standard purple R36S cover depicts neither compared model.

Use content you have the right to use. This guide does not establish distribution rights, audit licenses or provide game-file sources. A selected content label is not itself that evidence, and the absence of an audit is not a legal verdict about a package.

20. Four routines that can produce different choices

The GBA-first home player

You want the horizontal body and full-panel 3× possibility. Investigate RG34XX's actual presentation and digital sequence; the $20 selected-offer difference has a use when those preferences matter repeatedly.

The frequent-break player

You enjoy opening and closing a small clamshell. Investigate SP's actual stop, save and carry routine. Folding can be the reason to choose it without claiming automatic saving or certified protection.

The mixed classic collector

You care about several intended ratios and personal finishes. Weight your most-used views and choose exact selectors; one game family or a New prefix should not define all future needs.

The thoughtful gift buyer

You match the recipient's game interests and format preference, then establish actual preparation. A bag name and a quantity label do not make the first session ready or certify arrival for an event.

These are buyer examples, not customer reviews, measured audience segments or proven conversion winners. A different documented format can be appropriate when neither selected setup covers an essential requirement.

21. Carrying, power and optional connections belong to the real brief

Confirm actual device and case dimensions when a compartment fit matters. SP's closed lid is not a drop, water or crush certificate. RG34XX's exposed front also needs appropriate protection. A scene's pouch, notebook or furniture is not part of either carton.

RG34XX's source lists 3500mAh and up-to-seven-hour advertising; SP's source lists 3300mAh and eight-hour advertising. No paired runtime test supports a winner. Workload, brightness, software, wireless use and condition affect endurance; neither gives a trip-long guarantee.

Follow delivered charging markings and instructions with suitable equipment. SP's old Micro USB wording conflicts with later C2C text; do not resolve that inconsistency by choosing the convenient phrase. A charging cable and wall adapter are separate inclusions.

For TV or wireless use, identify the real port, cable, peripheral, software and mapping. Source output or Bluetooth wording is not a complete working route. Streaming depends on another host and network where applicable, not native modern-PC capability.

Resolve option-specific packing if a case, protector, spare media or adapter matters. SP's historical accessory list and RG34XX's incomplete current carton evidence are not inspection of your parcel. Exterior warehouse, dispatch, tax and warranty graphics are not adopted as store-order promises.

22. The facts this comparison actually uses

All 31 variant records were read from complete connections. Both current descriptions were read in full; specific original views establish source geometry and wording. The four reused final figures were separately viewed for this article before submission.

No paired gameplay, optical, latency, grip, hinge-cycle, battery, charging or current-carton test is reported. Mathematical examples explain the advertised geometry and selected prices, not measured manufacturing tolerances or guaranteed software defaults.

The open silver SP in a quiet desk setting gives its fold-open shape a daily place. This reused illustration is neither a second test unit nor a record of a supplied game or observed hinge behavior.

23. Choose RG34XX, choose SP, or pause

Choose RG34XX deliberately

You want its horizontal digital layout and GBA-shaped full-grid integer possibility. Its actual games, scale, reading, saves and preparation fit. The $149.99 offer serves a wanted playing routine, not an invented speed upgrade.

Choose SP deliberately

You value the folding digital form and its actual prepared routine fits. Choose $119.99, $129.99 or $139.99 by confirmed preparation and carrying contents rather than treating the highest label as a better processor.

Pause when the indispensable release, controls, reading, lid behavior, software or package remains unresolved. Neither polished art nor another nominal card size closes that gap. Compare another format if you need a substantially larger view or essential special inputs.

The right conclusion can be the lower-price device, the wanted horizontal one or neither. A useful recommendation explains what changes for you and what still needs confirming, instead of producing a universal winner score.

Seven checks for a GBA-view-versus-folding purchase

  1. Name the actual releases and repeated actions

Record platform, edition, language, digital inputs, reading and ordinary saving needs.

  2. Choose the presentation you value

Distinguish full-panel 3×, bordered 2× and maximum non-integer fit; inspect the actual relevant view.

  3. Give the body format an everyday job

Compare a wanted horizontal hold with an understood open-and-close routine, without inferring measured comfort or protection.

  4. Keep the exact offer and selector together

Retain RG34XX's full Color name or SP's Color and Bundle, the correct URL and current price.

  5. Confirm software, progress and preparation

Identify the installed build, media, required games, controls, ordinary saves, supported exit and reload.

  6. Explain the complete-package difference

Attach $30, $20 or $10 to its named comparison; confirm useful contents rather than assuming equivalent cards or libraries.

  7. Resolve ownership and final checkout

Confirm necessary packing, fit, charging or connections, selected amount and destination-specific purchase information.

This is a proposed buying method, not a claim that every supplied configuration has passed these checks.

Direct answers before choosing

Which should I investigate first?

RG34XX at $149.99 for a wanted horizontal GBA-shaped integer presentation and confirmed setup. SP for a folding digital routine, with its $129.99 content-labelled option as the selected 64G comparison. Neither is universally best.

Is this a sticks-versus-digital comparison?

No. Both viewed fronts are D-pad-and-button layouts without front analog sticks. The primary distinction is fixed horizontal versus folding form alongside their source display presentation and actual packages.

What display figures do the sources list?

RG34XX lists 3.4-inch IPS at 720×480, 3:2. SP lists 3.5-inch IPS at 640×480, 4:3. These are attributed model specifications, not measured current panels or optical ratings.

Why does RG34XX permit a GBA 3× example?

240×160 multiplied by three is 720×480, matching its source grid. Actual full-panel integer mapping depends on viewport, scale, overlays and filtering. This is not three-times-faster emulation or additional original detail.

Can SP preserve the GBA picture's proportions?

Suitable software can use aspect-preserved presentation with borders. Integer 2× gives 480×320; maximum full-width 3:2 fit is approximately 640×427 with non-integer sampling. Confirm actual available modes.

How large are the centered 2× borders?

480×320 inside 640×480 leaves 160 pixels unused in each dimension, or 80 on each side and above and below when centered. That is arithmetic, not a delivered-mode record or compatibility failure.

Is SP's GBA picture automatically larger?

No. Maximum aspect-preserved fit gives source-based calculated diagonals of 3.40 inches on RG34XX and approximately 3.37 on SP. The panels and actual occupied view are not measured here.

What is the calculated SP integer 2× picture size?

Approximately 2.52 inches diagonally using the advertised panel geometry. Keep that particular bordered mode attached; it is not SP's only possible presentation or a readability result.

Is 3:2 always better for a mixed collection?

No. Weight the intended views you actually use. A suitable 4:3 collection can favor investigating SP's full-panel direction. Different source formats and aspect correction should follow the exact releases.

Does the higher RG34XX price prove more speed?

No. Both descriptions attribute H700 and 1GB RAM to their model sources. No paired benchmark establishes a processing upgrade or identical results; actual software, settings and workload matter.

Does closing SP save or shut down the game?

Closure, saving, suspension and shutdown are separate actions. Identify the actual build's behavior and test low-stakes progress. The source lid claim is not guaranteed recovery or zero drain.

What does SP's Hall switch describe?

Its source describes magnetic lid sensing for sleep and wake. It is not a Hall-effect analog-stick specification, precision certificate or independent test of current resume behavior.

Which is more comfortable or better protected?

No paired comfort, hinge-life or protection result is supplied. Compare actual repeated inputs and supported posture. A folding lid and bag wording do not certify drop, water or pressure resistance.

What are RG34XX's exact choices?

Ten Color-only names, all ending in 64G and all $149.99. Five begin with New. Keep the complete selector shown in the table; no component upgrade, game quantity or higher-capacity ladder follows from those names.

Does Glacier mean opaque white or New mean improved?

Neither is established. The source overview shows a pale translucent direction, and no current New/plain component distinction is supplied. Confirm the exact finish or revision when it determines your choice.

What are SP's exact bundle prices?

32G(0 Games) $119.99, 64G(5K Games) $129.99 and 64G With Bag $139.99 in Blue, Grey, Silver, Black, Green, Red and White. That makes 21 current combinations.

Is RG34XX always $20 more?

No. It is $30 above SP's no-games entry, $20 above 64G(5K Games), and $10 above 64G With Bag. Each gap compares named complete offers, not isolated pixels, hinges or matched libraries.

Does 0 Games mean no operating system, and does Bag mean 5K?

0 Games sets a no-games expectation, not a confirmed empty system card. With Bag does not state 5K. Confirm boot setup, relevant software, physical media and the actual bag independently.

Is a named firmware or interchangeable system card confirmed?

No named current distribution is established across these options. Shared Linux-based and H700 wording does not establish firmware or whole-card interchangeability. Identify exact hardware and protect working media before changes.

Do these pictures or storage labels prove included games?

No. Body figures are viewed editorial illustrations, not captured tests or inventories. 5K is SP's selectable wording; RG34XX names have no quantity. Neither establishes a desired title, lawful distribution or complete play quality.

Which is the battery, accessory or ready-gift winner?

No matched result establishes one. Source runtime hours are advertising, and current cartons are not inspected. Confirm preparation, ordinary progress, required accessories, charging and applicable order information.

What is the final buying rule?

Give GBA-shaped integer presentation or the folding body a repeated useful role, then choose an understood exact package. RG34XX serves the wanted horizontal grid; SP serves the wanted fold-open digital routine. Actual setup determines fit.

Buy the view or the folding routine you will actually use

Choose RG34XX at $149.99 when the horizontal digital body and source-matched GBA integer presentation are wanted benefits, with actual games and software confirmed. Choose SP when its folding digital routine matters more, selecting $119.99, $129.99 or $139.99 by real preparation and contents.

The selected 64G-labelled difference is $20. It is not a benchmark victory, a licensed-library comparison or a price for an isolated component. Choose the complete routine that makes you want to return, with controls, text and progress you understand.
