RG34XX or RG28XX? Choose the GBA view or the deliberate mini routine.
Investigate RG34XX at $149.99 USD when you want a horizontal digital-control handheld and its listed 3.4-inch 3:2 screen makes your GBA-shaped collection more useful. Choose RG28XX deliberately when its mini horizontal format, actual reading and controls fit the games you will repeat. On the selected RG28XX page, 32G starts at $109.99 and 64G(5K Games) is $129.99. The $40 entry difference and $20 selected 64G-labelled difference compare different complete offers, not identical prepared kits.
The source specifications give a specific reason to consider RG34XX beyond its larger diagonal: a 240×160 picture can map at 3× to its full 720×480 grid. The listed RG28XX 640×480 panel fits that raw picture at integer 2×, or a larger non-integer proportion-preserved view. These are calculated possibilities, not installed-mode or performance tests.
Both displayed references have digital fronts without analog sticks. This is not a “pay for two more sticks” comparison. Start with your favorite release, useful picture, repeated button actions and a save you can return to; then choose the exact color and package.

The thirty-second decision
| Your priority | Investigate first | What must be confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| Full-panel integer GBA-shaped presentation | RG34XX, $149.99 | Actual emulator mode, readable interfaces, inputs and preparation. |
| A deliberate mini horizontal routine | RG28XX, from $109.99 | Reading, repeated controls and actual protected carry fit. |
| A selected 64G-labelled price comparison | RG28XX $129.99 versus RG34XX $149.99 | Different names do not establish equal media or game libraries. |
| A bag for the mini | RG28XX's exact With Bag tier | Actual accessory, fit and carton, not a protection certificate. |
| Near-square or 4:3 classics | Compare their actual occupied views | The GBA integer example is not a universal screen verdict. |
| Essential analog input or demanding game performance | Resolve the task before either | Neither digital front nor shared H700 wording certifies the needed route. |
Reviewed October 10, 2026 by iGameConsole Editorial Team. Current complete selected records cover ten RG34XX and sixteen RG28XX variants. Source specifications, observed reference layouts, ideal geometry and illustrations have separate roles. No paired gameplay, optical, comfort, battery or current-carton test is supplied.

1. Name the game you want to return to
A familiar creature journey, party adventure, puzzle board or platform stage can be the reason to buy a dedicated handheld. Translate that interest into the exact release, original system, language and repeated actions. One franchise can contain games with different image shapes, inputs and preparation needs.
For a GBA-first shortlist, identify overworld movement, command menus, dialogue, shoulder actions and ordinary saves. That gives RG34XX's matching 3:2 pixel grid a positive job. For a mixed classic collection, include the actual 4:3 or near-square interfaces you will use, not only one attractive opening scene.
Then define the routine. Is it a chapter after dinner, a brief puzzle break, or a device you specifically want to keep in a small protected carrying space? Mini size can be the preference, not a deficiency. A larger active picture can be the benefit, not evidence that everything runs faster.
Keep indispensable releases separate from optional experiments. An unverified future platform should not become the reason to pay more today. A focused collection with understandable controls and progress can be more valuable than a large menu whose entries you will never open.
2. Keep the two selected URLs and their packages together
The RG34XX offer is product 10648901845285, with a single Color field containing ten complete names ending in 64G. Every choice is $149.99. Five begin with New and five do not; that prefix is not a demonstrated hardware or firmware revision.
The RG28XX offer is product 10647534469413. Lava Orange, Crystal Black, Beige White and Grey each have 32G, 32G With Bag, 64G(5K Games) and 64G With Bag. Another RG28XX URL can expose different capacities, prices and labels, so it is not an extra selector on this page.
Matching 64G wording or an H700 reference cannot establish equal hardware batches, prepared software, card arrangement, free space, files or cartons. Treat each as a complete independent offer until relevant differences have been confirmed.
The exact selector is the place to choose appearance and package. An old title, filename or another article's price is not a current selected-unit inspection. The selected option and final checkout govern if catalog values change.
3. Both digital fronts keep the comparison focused
The displayed RG34XX reference shows a central landscape screen, left D-pad, right face buttons, smaller lower-left controls and lower-right grille. The displayed RG28XX references likewise show a left D-pad, right face buttons and two lower-left controls, with grille detail on the right. Neither reference supplies front analog sticks.
These are pictured arrangements, not measured button-force, accuracy, latency or comfort findings. The different body outlines and spacing deserve evaluation using repeated actions, not an invented universal grip winner.
For a directional-led game, test diagonals, held directions, reversals, simultaneous presses and shoulders. For menus, test deliberate selection and confirmation. A control that looks familiar is useful only when the actual game and software interpret it appropriately.
If an essential release needs analog range, touch, motion or a special peripheral, investigate a complete workable route or another format. A bigger screen or card cannot create a missing physical control. Do not recommend either simply because a platform name appears in old copy.
4. The listed screens change both shape and pixel grid
| Decision fact | RG34XX source | RG28XX source | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|---|
| Display | 3.4-inch IPS, 720×480 | 2.83-inch IPS, 640×480 | Brightness, response, personal readability or panel revision. |
| Ratio by grid | 3:2 | 4:3 | Every game's intended ratio or automatic correct scaling. |
| Advertised platform | H700, Cortex-A53 1.5GHz, G31 MP2, 1GB RAM | H700, Cortex-A53 1.5GHz, G31 MP2, 1GB RAM | Equal every-game behavior or a speed advantage. |
| System direction | Linux-based 64-bit in description | Linux in older model-specific sheet | A named current delivered distribution or interchangeable cards. |
| Current selector | Ten Color-only 64G names | Four colors × four package names | Audited games, physical media roles or accessory contents. |
The RG28XX model-specific sheet and displayed graphic identify 2.83-inch 640×480, rather than its former generic four-inch heading. The RG34XX description attributes 3.4-inch 720×480 to its model. These are the assumptions used for the display calculations below, not caliper measurements.
Resolution is not screen size; neither is processor capability. The source-listed RG34XX has more columns, while both list 480 rows. More display pixels cannot establish improved original game detail, a higher-demand platform or a universal optical advantage.
5. GBA integer scaling: 3× full fit versus 2× bordered fit
For a raw 240×160 source, 3× produces 720×480. That matches the listed RG34XX grid exactly. Each original pixel can occupy a 3×3 block under that simple mode, without unused panel area.
On the listed RG28XX 640×480 grid, 3× is too wide. Its largest integer fit for the same source is 2×, or 480×320. Centering that picture leaves 80 pixels on each side and 80 above and below.
| 240×160 example | Active grid | Unused space if centered | Buyer meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| RG34XX integer 3× | 720×480 | None in this simple fit | A matching full-panel GBA-shaped possibility. |
| RG28XX integer 2× | 480×320 | 80 pixels at every edge | Even original-pixel mapping with a smaller occupied view. |
| RG28XX maximum proportional fit | Ideal 640×426.67 | About 26.67 rows above and below before renderer rounding | A larger view using non-integer sampling. |
A real renderer uses discrete pixel dimensions; the decimal row value explains ideal geometry, not an exact selectable viewport. Actual rounding, filters, aspect correction and overlays must be established in the software you use.
Do not turn 3× into three times the processing power or 2× into poor compatibility. These are presentation choices. The game still needs appropriate files, an emulator, functional inputs and a reliable progress routine.
6. Compare occupied GBA pictures, not just diagonals
Using ideal advertised rectangles, RG34XX is approximately 2.829 inches wide and 1.886 inches high. RG28XX is approximately 2.264 inches wide and 1.698 inches high. Those physical proportions differ even though both source grids contain 480 rows.
Full-panel GBA 3× on RG34XX has the listed 3.40-inch diagonal. Integer 2× on RG28XX occupies approximately 2.04 inches diagonally. A maximum proportion-preserved GBA picture on RG28XX occupies approximately 2.72 inches instead.
| GBA presentation | RG34XX | RG28XX | Calculated distinction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Largest integer raw-pixel fit | 3×, about 3.40-inch active diagonal | 2×, about 2.04-inch active diagonal | RG34XX is about 66.6% larger in active linear dimensions for these modes. |
| Maximum proportional fit | About 3.40-inch active diagonal | About 2.72-inch active diagonal | RG34XX is about 25.0% larger in active linear dimensions. |
| Matched readability or optical test | Not supplied | Not supplied | Geometry is a reason to investigate, not a personal reading result. |
These are not contradictory percentages. One compares the largest integer modes; the other compares maximum preserved-aspect views. Keep the denominator and mode explicit rather than advertising whichever number sounds most dramatic.
The calculations assume that the stated diagonals span active rectangles, panel ratios hold and the relevant viewport is available. Actual panels, crop, overlays and software choices can differ. More occupied area does not add original game information or establish comfort, speed or clarity.
7. Border, crop, stretch and filter are different decisions
A 3:2 picture can fill the listed RG34XX panel without changing its shape. On RG28XX's 4:3 panel, maximum proportional fit leaves top and bottom room. Integer 2× leaves space on all four edges because width, rather than height, limits the next whole multiplier.
Stretching to 640×480 would change the source's proportions. Cropping can lose information near edges. A filter can change the sampling appearance, but cannot add original detail. These are different interventions and should not be combined under the word “full screen.”
If RG28XX's larger non-integer picture feels more useful than its integer view, that can be a valid preference. If the full-panel 3× direction is what attracts you to RG34XX, check the real emulator settings and ordinary interface. Neither preference needs an invented universal sharpness ranking.
Ask for the same release and relevant menu using the modes under consideration. A bordered screenshot on one and stretched artwork on the other does not establish a fair advantage. Neither editorial illustration is a scaling demonstration.

8. Other classic formats change the screen question
A collection is not automatically GBA-shaped. For an image intended as 4:3, ideal proportional fit calculates to approximately 3.14 inches diagonally on RG34XX, with side room, versus the full listed 2.83-inch RG28XX panel. The larger source diagonal alone is not the whole comparison.
For a raw 160×144, 10:9 example, both listed grids fit integer 3× at 480×432. On RG34XX, centering leaves 120 pixels each side and 24 above and below; on RG28XX, 80 each side and 24 above and below. Their ideal active diagonals calculate to approximately 2.54 and 2.28 inches.
That near-square integer difference is much smaller than the earlier GBA 3×-versus-2× difference. Do not reuse the 66.6% number for every game, or describe any panel as universally worse because it leaves borders.
Raw pixel ratios and intended historical viewing proportions can differ. Check the actual release's presentation before imposing a generic 4:3 or 10:9 setting. Choose the view that preserves useful framing, not a rule based only on the original console name.
9. The menu you repeatedly read should decide the viewing benefit
A recognizable battle can create interest while hiding small quantities, inventory descriptions or status labels. For a creature journey or party RPG, examine normal dialogue, equipment, map and save interfaces in the intended language.
RG34XX's calculated GBA view gives a concrete reason to investigate it for that task. It does not measure font design, contrast, display response, sight needs or every application. RG28XX can remain the deliberate choice when the relevant information is comfortably manageable.
Use ordinary viewing distance and comparable framing. Enlarging a camera crop, switching language or adding a larger font on only one device can explain an apparent advantage. Request the exact view rather than another photograph of an impressive opening scene.
If required text is too small on either setup, compare a genuinely larger usable view. A bag, another finish or a higher capacity cannot fix that problem. A correct purchase can be neither model, without devaluing their other appropriate uses.
10. Mini carrying appeal is not a measured comfort result
RG28XX's source direction is mini horizontal; RG34XX has the classic horizontal silhouette shown in its reference. We have no paired current body dimensions, weight, pocket trial or grip study here. Do not infer a percentage reduction in carrying volume from panel geometry.
Name your real carrying location and include protection, protruding controls and a cable where needed. A jacket pocket, small pouch and backpack compartment are different requirements. A staged hand image can explain an interest without certifying fit for your hand or clothing.
For use, evaluate repeated directional and shoulder actions. A brief static hold cannot settle a long command sequence or difficult platform level. Screen preference, grip preference and the likelihood of taking the device along can legitimately pull in different directions.
The best mini purchase is one you enjoy using as well as carrying. The best larger-view purchase is one whose actual useful picture earns its place in your routine. Neither smallness nor nostalgia establishes age suitability, impact protection or universal accessibility.
11. RG34XX: ten exact names, one $149.99 price
| Exact Color value | USD price | Keep this boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Indigo 64G | $149.99 | Complete option name, not a library manifest. |
| New Glacier 64G | $149.99 | New is not a verified panel upgrade. |
| Glacier 64G | $149.99 | Confirm the precise selected finish. |
| New Black 64G | $149.99 | No New surcharge is listed. |
| New TR Green 64G | $149.99 | Prefix does not certify a different build. |
| Black 64G | $149.99 | No faster black tier established. |
| New Indigo 64G | $149.99 | Current New/plain difference unresolved. |
| TR Green 64G | $149.99 | Appearance and performance are separate. |
| New TR Red 64G | $149.99 | No game count follows from New. |
| TR Red 64G | $149.99 | Same price as every listed option. |
The exact page exposes no separate Bundle field, bag choice or higher-capacity ladder. None of the ten names states a game count. Do not import a 15,000+ headline or another RG34XX offer's accessories.
Equal prices do not prove identical batches or software. The five New names and five plain names are identifiers, not a demonstrated improvement. If a revision matters, ask about the two complete names and the exact characteristic.
The overview includes translucent-looking pale, red and green directions. Glacier and TR should not be rewritten into a preferred opaque finish. Confirm the actual selected appearance when it is essential to a gift or collection.
12. RG28XX: every color has four distinct package names
| Exact Color | 32G | 32G With Bag | 64G(5K Games) | 64G With Bag |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lava Orange | $109.99 | $119.99 | $129.99 | $139.99 |
| Crystal Black | $109.99 | $119.99 | $129.99 | $139.99 |
| Beige White | $109.99 | $119.99 | $129.99 | $139.99 |
| Grey | $109.99 | $119.99 | $129.99 | $139.99 |
Plain 32G is not labelled No Games. Only 64G(5K Games) contains a count; the 64G With Bag name does not. An omitted count proves neither empty media nor identical files. Keep those exact distinctions in the purchase expectation.
Both With Bag names call for confirmation of the actual accessory and selected carton. Material, interior fit, padding and protective rating are not established by the name. A nominal $10 step does not price an independently identified case.
There is no listed color surcharge at any tier. Lava Orange, Crystal Black, Beige White and Grey are the exact current names, not interchangeable with another page's Orange, Black TR or White. Choose the actual appearance after screen and controls fit.
13. Three price comparisons, not one universal model premium
| RG28XX choice | RG28XX price | RG34XX 64G price | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| 32G entry | $109.99 | $149.99 | RG34XX is $40 more; capacity labels differ. |
| 32G With Bag | $119.99 | $149.99 | RG34XX is $30 more; accessory naming differs too. |
| 64G(5K Games) | $129.99 | $149.99 | RG34XX is $20 more; matching nominal capacity does not prove equal preparation. |
| 64G With Bag | $139.99 | $149.99 | RG34XX is $10 more; actual bag and contents remain separate checks. |
The $20 selected 64G-labelled comparison can be useful when explaining why RG34XX's GBA-shaped view deserves consideration. It is not a matched-kit screen surcharge. The $40 entry difference is also correct, but cannot be described as the same capacity comparison.
Within RG28XX, plain 32G to 32G With Bag is $10; plain 32G to 64G(5K Games) is $20; that count-labelled tier to 64G With Bag is another $10. The names do not establish that every feature stacks automatically.
These are complete-offer differences, not isolated prices for a panel, card, bag, setup work or game library. Final destination totals are separate from dated USD base prices. A lower-price choice is sensible when it meets the brief; a premium needs a benefit you will actually repeat.
14. Shared H700 wording cannot supply a benchmark verdict
Both retrieved descriptions attribute H700 Cortex-A53 at 1.5GHz, G31 MP2 and 1GB RAM to their model sources. That does not establish a processing-class upgrade for RG34XX, nor identical results in every release.
Firmware, emulator implementation, settings, file versions and preparation can change practical behavior. A higher display grid and larger physical view are presentation differences, not a measured speed percentage. More storage cannot create another CPU or analog controls.
For an indispensable release, ask for the exact device configuration, build, emulator and representative sequence with sound, required actions and saving. A menu entry, launch logo and useful whole session are different evidence levels.
No universal PSP, Dreamcast, N64, PS2, GameCube, Wii or native modern-PC result is claimed. A demanding must-play title needs its own relevant evidence, not a chip-name ranking or a list of platform icons.
15. Confirm the delivered Linux-based environment
RG34XX's description states Linux-based 64-bit; RG28XX's older model-specific sheet says Linux. Neither current selector establishes a named installed distribution or version across all choices.
Do not substitute muOS, ArkOS, Android, Google Play or another model's menus. ArkOS, where actually identified, is community firmware within a Linux-based environment, not a separate operating-system family competing with Linux.
If integer GBA fit is the purchase reason, confirm available scaler, aspect, filter, overlay and viewport choices. If simple first use matters, identify the actual menu language, matching instructions and supported exit and power route. A promising hardware grid is only one part of the chain.
Preserve a working setup and supported backups of valuable progress before changes. Similar processors and brands do not certify firmware-image or whole-card interchangeability. This guide is a purchase method, not a flashing procedure.
16. Storage, supplied games and useful play are three questions
32G and 64G are nominal package labels, not RAM or measured free space. They do not establish the physical card count, brands, filesystem, system allocation or actual storage roles. A bag is not a media upgrade.
The 5K wording on one RG28XX tier is not an independent unique-title, language, rights or functionality audit. RG34XX's ten options contain no count. A source illustration cannot establish that a named commercial game arrives installed.
For the few releases you care about, distinguish an inventory record, a launch, representative play, required inputs, sound and reliable save/reload. A larger menu cannot correct a missing essential title or an unusable interface.
Use content you have the right to use. This guide supplies no game-file sources or distribution-rights audit. Choose capacity for an understood collection and actual usable arrangement, not as a substitute for the screen, controls or software checks.
17. Make the break easy to end and reopen
Learn a new setup with disposable early progress: ordinary in-game save, supported exit, normal restart and reload. Check that the progress you expected actually reopens. This is more useful for a continuing campaign than another untested library headline.
Native saves, emulator states, suspension and shutdown are distinct actions. A dark screen does not establish finished writes, safe progress or zero standby draw. Neither image in this guide demonstrates those behaviors.
If adding a second handheld, protect the original campaign. Determine whether a supported copy of the relevant save format can transfer before making migration part of the buying promise. States need not be portable across cores or versions.
A confirmed easy-to-understand routine can be legitimate package value. Assumed instant resume cannot justify $10, $20 or $40. The device you want to pick up again should contain progress you understand how to preserve.
18. Four routines that make the format decision concrete
A GBA-shaped chapter after dinner
Investigate RG34XX's full-panel 3× possibility and actual menus, shoulders and progress. The useful picture can earn a premium without an invented speed upgrade.
A brief mini platform break
Investigate RG28XX when its actual reading, digital inputs and carrying arrangement make the small format appealing. Compare integer and maximum proportional modes before assuming the view is too small.
A near-square familiar collection
Compare the actual occupied interfaces. Both source grids fit the raw 160×144 example at 3×; the GBA 66.6% number cannot describe this case.
A personal second handheld
Give the new device a wanted role: deliberate mini use or a GBA-shaped digital view. Preserve existing progress and confirm media rather than assuming shared H700 means interchangeable cards.
These are proposed buyer situations, not measured audience segments, customer reviews or proven conversion winners. The strongest choice is the benefit you can explain for your actual repeated session.

19. A gift needs a first evening, not a maximum count
Find the recipient's exact favorite releases, reading needs and willingness to prepare software. Someone who wants a GBA-shaped digital routine may prefer RG34XX. Someone deliberately interested in mini electronics and short games may prefer RG28XX if the actual view and controls fit.
Neither 64G label establishes a ready-to-launch favorite or an understandable save routine. The 5K count and With Bag names do not remove preparation questions. Confirm language, actual media, desired contents, instructions and who will help.
Choose appearance after functional fit. New, TR, Crystal Black or Beige White cannot alone certify a particular revision, opacity, material, age suitability or durability. Current selected appearance matters when it is part of the gift.
For a fixed occasion, use confirmed current order information rather than supplier shipping badges. This guide creates no deadline, service response promise, warranty duration or new return entitlement. A known first evening is more thoughtful than an inflated expectation.
20. Bags, power and optional connections stay with the exact setup
RG28XX's source standard carton mentions a console, cable, box and manual, but is not an inspection of these four current tiers. Its two bag names need current accessory and carton confirmation. RG34XX's description does not provide a complete selected-option packing list.
No included wall adapter, video cable, controller, protector or spare card is established here. Check actual bag fit without pressure on display or controls. Source promotional artwork is not your order's support, tax or fulfillment promise.
Historic 3100mAh/eight-hour RG28XX and 3500mAh/up-to-seven-hour RG34XX figures are not a controlled runtime comparison. Workload, settings, wireless use and battery condition differ. Follow delivered charging guidance rather than inferring universal compatibility from a connector.
For essential TV, network, controller or streaming use, confirm the full hardware/software/accessory route. A feature word is not a demonstration, and streaming with another host is not native modern-game execution. Keep optional connections optional for an offline buyer.
21. What supports the recommendation, and what remains untested
The complete current variant records establish ten RG34XX choices and sixteen RG28XX combinations with prices. Their descriptions provide attributed model specifications. Actual reference images displayed in this production support pictured digital front arrangements, not latency, mechanisms or selected-stock inspection.
The RG28XX display graphic advertises 640×480 and 2.83 inches. Its other original graphic contains shipping, returns and tax promotions that are not adopted here. The RG34XX original likewise includes promotional badges and screen art, not a current game or fulfillment test.
The three reused generated editorial figures were displayed before submission: RG34XX battle, RG28XX in-hand platform scene and RG28XX desk board-style scene. They explain distinct play interests; they are not pixel-identical photography, measured body scale, calibrated viewports or captured games.
Price and geometry arithmetic were computed separately under stated source assumptions. No paired gameplay, calibrated panel, ergonomic, battery, installed-build or current-carton result is supplied. The standing purple R36S cover is neither compared model.
The recommendation remains conditional on the real view, game, inputs and preparation. An unanswered essential is a reason to investigate or pause, not a false competitor disadvantage or a disguised all-platform promise.
Choose the repeated benefit, or compare another format
RG34XX earns its place through the wanted view
Your important collection is GBA-shaped, the actual 3× presentation and controls meet the brief, and the horizontal silhouette is wanted. $149.99 serves that routine rather than speculative future compatibility.
RG28XX earns its place through deliberate mini use
The actual view, inputs, software and carry plan pass. Select the appropriate $109.99–$139.99 package after confirming what its exact label means for your intended session.
Compare another format when you need essential analog input, substantially larger readable interfaces, different software or demonstrated demanding-game behavior not established here. A larger capacity cannot repair those mismatches.
Choose neither until an indispensable release, save method or selected carton is clear. The objective is a useful purchase, not making every buyer pay for the same features.
Seven checks before choosing your digital-front horizontal handheld
A proposed buyer method for comparing useful picture, repeated controls and actual packages, not a report that every configuration passed testing.
-
Name the essential session
Identify exact releases, language, smallest important text, repeated actions and ordinary save requirements.
-
Compare the occupied picture
Separate GBA integer, maximum proportional and other intended views; request actual available settings instead of judging panel diagonal alone.
-
Check repeated inputs
Evaluate directions, simultaneous presses and shoulders. Resolve any essential analog or special input rather than assuming digital substitution.
-
Attach the exact offer
Keep URL, full RG34XX Color or RG28XX Color and Bundle, current price and confirmed preparation together.
-
Resolve software and progress
Identify the actual build, physical media, desired contents, supported save, exit and reload before modifying a working setup.
-
Verify the carry and accessory plan
Compare actual protected fit and required charging or connections; inspect any chosen bag and selected carton.
-
Justify the price and final order
Explain the exact $40 entry or $20 selected 64G-labelled difference, then check chosen amount and current destination purchase information.
Twenty-two direct answers before ordering
Which should I investigate first?
RG34XX for a wanted GBA-shaped horizontal digital routine whose actual setup fits. RG28XX for deliberate mini use with manageable reading and controls. Neither is universally best.
Do either references show front analog sticks?
Neither displayed reference has front sticks. Both show D-pad and face-button arrangements. Pictures do not establish mechanisms, latency, comfort or a special game mapping.
What screen specifications are attributed?
RG34XX's description lists 3.4-inch IPS, 720×480 and 3:2. RG28XX's older model-specific sheet and display graphic list 2.83-inch IPS, 640×480, a 4:3 grid. These are source claims, not measured current panels.
How does raw GBA integer scaling differ?
240×160 at 3× fills RG34XX's listed 720×480. RG28XX's largest integer fit is 2×, 480×320, centered with 80 pixels on every edge. Arithmetic does not certify installed modes.
Can RG28XX use a larger proportional GBA picture?
Ideal maximum fit is 640×426.67 before discrete renderer rounding, leaving top and bottom room. It uses non-integer sampling. Confirm the actual emulator viewport, filters and aspect settings.
What are the ideal physical GBA pictures?
Under the advertised dimensions, RG34XX's full 3× picture is 3.40 inches diagonally; RG28XX's integer 2× picture is about 2.04, and maximum proportional fit about 2.72. These are calculations, not panel or readability tests.
Is the GBA advantage about 66.6% or 25%?
About 66.6% compares active linear dimensions at the largest integer modes. About 25% compares maximum proportional views. Neither describes more processing power, source information or every game format.
Are borders a failure, and should I stretch?
Borders can intentionally preserve proportions or integer mapping. Stretch changes shapes; crop can hide information. Choose the actual useful presentation instead of assuming every pixel must contain game artwork.
What about 4:3 and near-square content?
Ideal 4:3 fit calculates to about 3.14 inches on RG34XX versus 2.83 on RG28XX. Both grids fit raw 160×144 at integer 3×, giving active diagonals about 2.54 and 2.28. Do not reuse the GBA percentage for these tasks.
Do more display pixels or H700 establish faster games?
No paired benchmark is supplied. Both descriptions attribute H700 and 1GB RAM to their model sources, but builds, emulators, settings and releases matter. Screen grid and storage are not measured processing upgrades.
What does the RG34XX selector offer?
Ten exact Color-only names ending in 64G, all $149.99. Five begin with New. The complete table preserves each name; there is no separate Bundle ladder or game-count wording.
Does New certify an upgrade or Glacier opaque white?
Neither follows from the name. New/plain hardware and firmware differences are unresolved, and the overview includes translucent-looking directions. Confirm the exact selected revision or appearance if important.
What are RG28XX's exact prices?
Lava Orange, Crystal Black, Beige White and Grey each have 32G $109.99, 32G With Bag $119.99, 64G(5K Games) $129.99 and 64G With Bag $139.99. All sixteen combinations are listed, without a color surcharge.
Is the premium always $20?
No. RG34XX is $40 above selected RG28XX 32G, $30 above 32G With Bag, $20 above 64G(5K Games), and $10 above 64G With Bag. These are independent whole-offer differences, not matched kits or universal model prices.
Is RG28XX plain 32G No Games?
Its exact name is only 32G. It gives no count or No Games statement. Do not import another URL's label; confirm actual selected media, preparation and desired contents.
Does 64G With Bag guarantee the 5K tier's files?
The name omits the count. That proves neither empty media nor identical contents. Request the exact selected file and carton information rather than assuming every package benefit stacks.
Are 5,000 games or my favorite release guaranteed?
No independent whole-library or selected-title audit is supplied. A count, launch and useful play are different evidence. Confirm exact release, lawful access, inputs, sound and saving; illustrations are not inclusion records.
Are muOS, ArkOS and card interchangeability verified?
No named current delivered build or whole-card interchangeability is established. Confirm the actual Linux-based environment and media roles. Similar processors and brand names do not certify the same firmware image.
Which has proven better carrying, comfort or battery?
No paired result establishes a winner. Check actual protected dimensions, repeated controls and useful runtime. Panel calculations do not measure body volume, grip or endurance, and historic hour claims are not controlled tests.
Are bags, charging and connected setups confirmed?
Confirm the exact carton, actual bag where selected, charging guidance and full accessory/software route for any essential connection. Neither a With Bag name nor a feature word certifies fit, protection or every required item.
Do these figures demonstrate gameplay or calibrated scale?
No. Three reused generated editorial figures were displayed for this production and explain battle, platform and board-style interests. They are not captured tests, measured grip, precise viewport, current stock or package evidence. The R36S cover is neither compared model.
What is the final buying rule?
Choose RG34XX when the wanted GBA-shaped digital view and actual setup earn its price. Choose RG28XX for deliberate mini use that passes reading, controls and preparation checks. Decide the exact package afterward, and pause any unanswered essential.
Buy the handheld you will want to reopen.
RG34XX at $149.99 is the first route for a wanted GBA-shaped horizontal digital routine. Its listed full-panel 3× possibility gives the view a specific job. Choose it when actual menus, inputs, software and progress meet that job, not because a larger grid promises more platforms.
RG28XX is the purposeful mini route when its actual view and controls fit. Compare integer and maximum proportional presentation, then choose the appropriate $109.99–$139.99 package. The exact labels do not establish a universal library, bag inspection or matched kit.
Explain the saving or premium with the session you will repeat. A few wanted games, meaningful controls and understood progress can matter more than the largest count. If an indispensable requirement remains unclear, resolve it before buying either.
