01 / RG Cube buying guide

A square-screen Android handheld for a deliberately different game night.

ANBERNIC RG Cube combines a 3.95-inch 720 × 720 IPS touchscreen, Android 13, a Unisoc T820 processor, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. Choose it because you want the square display and physical controls, not because every game becomes square or every emulator becomes effortless. This is the Android RG Cube, not RG CubeXX and not a generic Linux handheld.

Our recommendation: decide which games and screen layouts you want first. Then choose Grey, Black or Beige White, with the corresponding BAG labels where offered, followed by Machine Only, With 128G or With 256G. There are 18 selectable combinations. The current selected-variant price in the purchase area is authoritative; extra capacity is not a processor or RAM upgrade.

For an adult retro enthusiast who enjoys an Android setup, this format can be a distinctive personal handheld or considered gift. For someone who mainly wants wide Android games or a large streaming screen, compare a wider format before choosing. A familiar title is more enjoyable when its text, controls and aspect ratio fit how you actually play.

Compare the 18 package choices

02 / RG Cube buying guide

The 30-second verdict: shape first, package second.

Choose it for

A compact square touch display, Android navigation, dual sticks and a distinct alternative to a conventional wide handheld. The combination matters more than any single advertised game total.

Compare another format if

You mainly play wide-screen games, want a large display for small text, or expect a Linux interface without Android app management. Choose around your actual games rather than a platform-logo collage.

Start with Machine Only if

You want the base handheld and prefer to decide your own software and storage arrangement. Machine Only does not mean the manufacturer-listed internal 128GB disappears.

Consider a With tier if

The additional package capacity serves a real collection and you have clarified the physical medium and contents. The label alone is not a verified installed-game inventory.

All products in our store are sold as new. That does not by itself establish factory-sealed packaging, individual performance testing or a particular accessory in every carton. This guide separates manufacturer model specifications, existing package artwork and current order labels so those three sources do not silently become one promise.

03 / RG Cube buying guide

Six color/package labels, three capacity tiers, 18 combinations.

Choose one label in the Color selector and one in the Bundle selector. BAG is part of the first option name, not a different chipset. The same three Bundle choices appear under each label. Read both selected values before adding the product to your cart.

Exact Color label Machine Only With 128G With 256G
Grey Base handheld package 128G-labeled package 256G-labeled package
Black Base handheld package 128G-labeled package 256G-labeled package
Beige White Base handheld package 128G-labeled package 256G-labeled package
Grey BAG Base handheld package 128G-labeled package 256G-labeled package
Black BAG Base handheld package 128G-labeled package 256G-labeled package
White BAG Base handheld package 128G-labeled package 256G-labeled package

Use the current purchase-area price for the exact combination. A BAG suffix is supported by bag-package artwork, but equal prices between plain and BAG labels do not independently prove a promotion or a free gift. Compare-at figures are catalog comparison values, not a documented history of what another customer paid. Final currency, shipping and taxes are resolved for the order at checkout.

Do not choose a capacity tier to chase more speed: these package names do not indicate different processors, RAM or panels. If a card or a specific prepared setup is the reason to move up, clarify that deliverable before paying for it.

04 / RG Cube buying guide

RG Cube is not RG CubeXX.

The manufacturer identifies this RG Cube as an Android 13 handheld powered by Unisoc T820 with 8GB RAM. The square-screen appearance is not a reason to import specifications from another Cube-named product. A similar name or case silhouette cannot establish operating system, emulator setup or accessory fit.

If you are replacing an existing handheld, think about the transition as a workflow change. Android involves app settings, permissions, storage locations and potentially accounts. Existing save states, controller mappings and firmware files from a different device should not be assumed interchangeable. Keep a backup of important files before migration, and identify the app and save format you intend to use.

Buy the actual model shown in the selection and product identity. Neither a broad retro-gaming headline nor a supplier color-family image changes the ordered hardware. For an accessory, check exact RG Cube dimensions and control clearance rather than choosing by the word Cube alone.

05 / RG Cube buying guide

A 720 × 720 panel does not make every game 1:1.

The panel itself is square: 720 pixels wide and 720 high. A game designed for another ratio can retain its original shape with unused space, stretch to fill the square, or be cropped depending on software. Those are different choices. Stretching changes proportions; cropping can hide information. Black bars are often the correct result when preserving the original composition.

Use a game you know well when evaluating the display. Check the full dialogue box, HUD, menus and edges of the action, not just a centered character. On a small screen, readable text and a sensible viewing distance are more important than a dramatic cropped marketing image. Native resolution is a panel fact, not a promise of a particular game rendering at that resolution.

The RG Cube can appeal when you deliberately want a more square canvas. It is less convincing when the purchase depends on making wide-screen games occupy every pixel without compromise. Choose the geometry you prefer before treating screen diagonal as the whole comparison.

06 / RG Cube buying guide

Make a few favorite games the center of the decision.

Classic dialogue and pixel art

For a familiar RPG, evaluate font size, dialogue speed, save behavior and the original image proportions. A square panel does not prove that a named title is supplied or configured.

Arcade-style short sessions

Focus on directional input, face-button reach, audio and how quickly you can save or exit safely. A promotional action screen is not a latency test.

Touch and Android navigation

Check whether your intended app uses physical controls natively or needs mapping. Touchscreen support does not convert every touch-focused game into a controller-first experience.

Longer modern sessions

Look at sustained play, heat, fan sound and battery use in the actual app. A title launching is a weaker test than a normal gameplay sequence.

This is a selection method, not a claim that we have tested these categories on every unit. A small collection that fits your tastes and software is more useful than an unverified library count. Tell support the exact app or game, relevant version and the experience you need; a broad question such as “does it run everything?” cannot produce a reliable purchase decision.

07 / RG Cube buying guide

What T820, 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage actually describe.

ANBERNIC lists the Unisoc T820, Mali-G57 graphics, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage for RG Cube. RAM supports running software; internal storage holds the system, apps and files. Neither number is a count of games or a guarantee of frame rate. The operating system and installed applications consume part of nominal storage.

The manufacturer describes the processor as eight cores, with one A76 at 2.7GHz, three A76 at 2.3GHz and four A55 at 2.1GHz. That is architecture information, not a measured comparison against every competing handheld. Software versions, graphics settings and thermal conditions still affect behavior.

The chipset graphic uses “5G SOC” wording. Do not read that as a promise of a SIM slot, mobile-data subscription or cellular connectivity on the handheld. The manufacturer-listed wireless connections for this model are dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. Internal storage, removable-package capacity and network capability are separate specifications.

Model specification graphic distinguishes 8GB RAM from 128GB internal storage. Its 5G chipset wording does not establish cellular service.
08 / RG Cube buying guide

Android 13 gives you a platform, not every app preconfigured.

The manufacturer-listed operating system is Android 13. Expect an Android-style environment rather than a Linux menu being implied by a generic retro-console label. An app can have its own version requirements, permissions, login, payment, region availability and controller behavior. Android version alone does not establish Google Play certification or the presence of a particular store on selected stock.

Before buying for one app, establish what you actually need: installation availability, usable screen layout, physical-control support and normal in-game behavior. If an account is required, consider who will own and maintain it, especially for a gift. Do not share personal credentials with support to obtain an app recommendation.

Keep system updates and app updates distinct. Manufacturer support for wireless system updates does not mean every third-party app remains compatible forever. Make changes one at a time and retain important files separately. The most useful setup is one whose controls, saving and maintenance you understand, not a screen full of unfamiliar icons.

09 / RG Cube buying guide

Emulator availability is not a universal performance guarantee.

ANBERNIC advertises support for a broad range of emulation formats, including older systems and more demanding platforms. That is model-level compatibility marketing. It is not a current-stock per-title benchmark, an installed software inventory, or a promise that an entire console library runs at full speed. Emulator version, renderer, resolution, game revision and settings all matter.

For a title that determines your purchase, look for sustained gameplay with visible movement, clear audio, working controls and save/reload behavior. A boot screen or platform logo does not answer those questions. More demanding PS2, GameCube, Wii or 3DS titles require title-specific evaluation; do not infer universal playability from the T820 name.

The package capacity labels do not upgrade the emulator or hardware. A larger card can hold more files, but it cannot remove a rendering bottleneck or make unsupported controls work. No fixed FPS, success percentage or iGameConsole lab-test score is claimed here.

10 / RG Cube buying guide

Game artwork and storage labels are not a supplied library.

The current variants do not identify a verified game list. With 128G and With 256G describe package labels, not a confirmed number of licensed installed titles. The duck image visible in package artwork is a screen illustration; it does not identify a game that is included or demonstrate software running on the ordered unit.

Choose around games and applications you can legitimately access and maintain. File requirements and any BIOS requirements depend on the chosen software. A prepared library, if offered for selected stock, needs its own contents description; manufacturer platform support is not evidence of those contents.

Do not budget around a familiar franchise appearing in an illustration. If a particular title matters, clarify its availability and requirements separately from the device purchase. This guide deliberately avoids a 15,000-game headline, automatic-download promises or a claim that choosing the largest tier provides every game you remember.

11 / RG Cube buying guide

Machine Only still describes a complete handheld.

Machine Only is the base Bundle label. The manufacturer specification for RG Cube includes 128GB internal UFS 2.2 storage, so the option name should not be interpreted as a console with no internal storage. Internal capacity is also not the same thing as free user space after the system is installed.

This tier is worth evaluating first when you prefer to manage your own app and storage arrangement. Clarify the current base-carton accessories and whether your intended software setup requires anything additional. The name by itself does not provide an itemized packing list or establish which third-party apps are installed.

For an experienced Android user, a base package may leave more decisions in your own hands. For a first-time recipient, that can mean additional preparation rather than instant familiarity. Choose the tier whose real contents match your needs, and avoid assuming that the word Machine excludes every cable, manual or protective accessory shown in model-level artwork.

12 / RG Cube buying guide

With 128G and With 256G need a separate storage decision.

The manufacturer-listed internal 128GB remains a model specification; the two With-tier labels are additional order choices. Existing package artwork does not show a separate memory card or identify its manufacturer, speed, contents or available space. Clarify what the selected tier physically adds before making the additional capacity your main reason to buy.

For your own collection, estimate the files you actually plan to keep locally and leave room for saves, updates and maintenance. More nominal capacity is useful when you need the space, not automatically better for someone who plays a handful of familiar games. Game-file sizes vary widely, so capacity alone does not translate into a reliable title count.

If a removable card is part of your selected package, keep a separate backup of important saves and files. Do not treat one card as both the working copy and the backup. A storage upgrade is a convenience decision, not a substitute for confirming the current setup and contents.

13 / RG Cube buying guide

Grey is the light-shell, burgundy-control look in the artwork.

The Grey package source depicts a pale body with burgundy sticks, directional control, face buttons and shoulder accents. This is a useful reason to inspect the actual image rather than expecting a uniformly dark-grey device from the name alone. Product photography and lighting can affect how a finish appears, so choose by both the exact label and the corresponding imagery.

Grey and Grey BAG are separate selector labels, each with all three Bundle choices. The bag artwork adds a black carrying bag alongside the same visual color family. It does not establish protective certification, internal dimensions or accessory clearance.

For a gift, this muted, contrasting control palette may appeal to someone who likes a classic console-inspired look. That is an aesthetic recommendation, not a measured popularity ranking. Match the recipient’s preference and verify both selected values; a Grey BAG picture does not convert a plain Grey order into a bag package.

14 / RG Cube buying guide

Black is the restrained option with dark controls.

The Black source artwork shows a dark body, dark controls and illuminated stick rings. Compared with the multicolored-button beige-white family, the visual emphasis is on the screen and RGB accents. This is an appearance observation from the existing source, not a claim about material durability, fingerprint resistance or long-term finish wear.

Black and Black BAG remain distinct order labels. The bag-package illustration shows a black carrying bag beside the handheld; base-package artwork does not show that same bag. Neither image inventories the With-tier storage medium. Keep shell choice, carrying package and capacity as three separate decisions even though two of them share a selector.

For a discreet desk or travel setup, Black is worth considering if you prefer minimal color contrast. Check the actual selected package rather than inferring that the darker unit has a different screen, processor or control technology.

15 / RG Cube buying guide

Beige White and White BAG: read the label, then the image.

The Beige White source depicts a light opaque shell, white sticks and directional control, with blue X, green Y, red A and yellow B face buttons. The bag-package source is labeled Beige White + Bag, while the selector shortens the label to White BAG. That visual relationship is useful, but the two different names should not be silently renamed in the catalog.

The source is not a transparent or crystal shell. This guide does not recolor beige-white evidence into a different SKU, and it does not claim a batch-level color match under every light. Select Beige White or White BAG deliberately and confirm the corresponding order label if the precise finish is essential.

The color contrast can make the controls easier to distinguish in a product image, but it is not an accessibility certification or proof of better gameplay. Processor, memory and panel specifications are model-level facts shared across these offered color labels.

16 / RG Cube buying guide

BAG artwork supports an intended package, not a protection rating.

The three bag-package sources depict a black zip-style carrying bag with a handle beside the console and the pictured base accessories. This provides more information than the suffix alone. It still does not establish water resistance, drop protection, crush resistance or space for every cable and adapter you may carry.

If carrying the device is central to your purchase, check the exact BAG label and package contents. A case intended for another Cube model should not be substituted based on a similar name. Joystick height, trigger clearance and the shape of the grips all matter to fit.

For everyday transport, power down as appropriate and avoid pressing controls or blocking ventilation inside a bag. A source image is not a shipping-damage test. Equal catalog pricing between BAG and plain choices is a reason to clarify the order contents, not a basis for publishing an unverified free-case promotion.

Hall controls and RGB rings: useful features, realistic expectations.

ANBERNIC lists Hall joysticks, Hall triggers, a six-axis gyroscope, vibration and configurable RGB stick lighting. The source imagery shows the left stick above the directional control, face buttons above the right stick, and shoulder controls around the upper edges. Choose the device around that actual layout rather than a generic gamepad silhouette.

Hall sensing does not guarantee that a complete control assembly can never wear, need calibration or develop another fault. Lighting modes and adjustable brightness are model features, not evidence of lower input delay or a fixed battery duration. Physical button comfort is personal and depends on your hands and the games you play.

Use settings carefully when changing mappings or calibration. Record the original arrangement before modifying it. For a touch-heavy Android app, verify what the app itself supports; physical buttons and a touchscreen can coexist without every on-screen action mapping automatically.

Cooling helps manage load; it does not certify silent operation.

The manufacturer lists a high-speed fan and active heat dissipation. Existing rear-view graphics illustrate vents, the fan area and airflow. Those diagrams show the design concept; they do not measure airflow, surface temperature, thermal throttling or audible noise in your room.

Keep ventilation clear during play. A soft surface, crowded bag or blocked vent can interfere with intended airflow. If quiet late-night play matters, consider fan sound together with speaker volume and your usual workload. Light retro software and a demanding Android app should not be assumed to produce identical behavior.

A thermal claim needs conditions: the app, duration, ambient temperature, settings and measurement method. This page supplies the manufacturer-listed cooling feature but does not invent a temperature number, stress-test result or silent-mode promise. Comfort and performance remain questions about the actual activity you plan to do.

5200mAh is capacity; seven hours is an estimate.

ANBERNIC lists a 5200mAh lithium battery, an advertised seven-hour runtime and approximately three hours to charge with supported 5V/2A charging. Capacity, runtime and charge duration are different quantities. Runtime depends on workload, brightness, wireless activity, fan behavior, lighting, volume and device condition.

Plan travel around a representative session rather than the best-looking number. Learn your normal battery use before relying on the handheld for a long trip. Follow the device instructions for charging and use suitable equipment; this description does not establish that a wall adapter is included or approve an unlisted charging protocol.

A higher-capacity With tier is not a battery upgrade. Neither RGB lighting nor active cooling proves a fixed number of hours. No current-stock battery endurance test is represented here, and the advertised figure should not be treated as a guaranteed minimum for every Android game.

RG Cube internal battery and cooling illustration with advertised capacity and runtime
Battery artwork advertises 5200mAh and seven hours. Seven hours is a manufacturer estimate, not a promise for every game.
20 / RG Cube buying guide

Wireless play and streaming each have their own requirements.

The manufacturer lists 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi using 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0. Those connections can support compatible software workflows, but they do not themselves establish online play for every emulator or game. Accounts, software versions, server availability and network conditions can all matter.

For streaming, distinguish the handheld as a client from the computer or service running the game. The source’s streaming capability does not mean a gaming PC, subscription or remote-host access is included. Check the app’s screen layout and controller handling on the square display before making streaming the main purchase reason.

Bluetooth version does not establish flawless compatibility with every controller or headset, nor does it certify audio latency. If a specific accessory is essential, identify its model and the exact desired use. Treat cellular service separately: chipset advertising is not a promise of mobile-data connectivity.

21 / RG Cube buying guide

USB-C video output is not the same thing as an included HDMI setup.

ANBERNIC specifies USB Type-C support for 1080p DisplayPort output and lists a 3.5mm stereo headphone connection. The handheld panel remains 720 × 720. An external-output specification does not change the native display resolution or guarantee that every app presents correctly on every television.

A working external-display setup depends on the appropriate cable or adapter, display support, audio path and software behavior. The existing accessory artwork shows a USB charging cable, not a complete documented TV connection kit. Confirm the equipment required for your own display instead of assuming an HDMI cable or dock is supplied.

If you mainly want TV play, think about the complete arrangement: where the handheld sits with vents clear, how you control the game, how the app scales, and how you return to handheld use. A listed port capability is a starting point, not proof of your finished living-room setup.

22 / RG Cube buying guide

Portable dimensions do not promise that every pocket will fit.

The manufacturer lists console dimensions of 15.3 × 8.6 × 1.8cm and approximately 0.26kg. These are model specifications, not an individual-unit measurement by our team. Sticks, shoulder controls and a carrying bag affect the practical space you need, even when the nominal body dimensions look compact.

For a commute, a handheld can be appealing because it leaves your phone free and avoids taking over a shared TV. For a longer trip, consider the safe storage of the console, charging equipment and a backup of important files. Check the actual compartment rather than using a screen diagonal as a fit measurement.

The source artwork depicts the device and accessories, not hands demonstrating exact scale. No fabricated hand-held scene or oversized tablet-like proportion is used as dimensional evidence. For portability, the honest comparison is the device’s real outline and the bag you intend to carry it in.

23 / RG Cube buying guide

An after-work session should be simple because you prepared it.

Imagine choosing one familiar game after work while the television stays available for someone else. The point of this square-screen handheld is not to scroll through an unverified total; it is to reach a game you enjoy with readable text, comfortable controls and a save routine you trust. That scene is a use example, not a claim about installed software.

Before the first relaxed session, establish navigation, volume, brightness, exit behavior and where saves are stored. A little preparation matters more than loading every possible emulator. Keep the game’s original image shape unless you deliberately prefer another setting, and confirm that you can return to the same save after closing the app.

If your favorite titles consistently feel cramped in a square layout, that is a useful buying signal rather than something a feature list should talk you out of. The right device is the one that matches your evenings, not the one with the longest marketing specification.

24 / RG Cube buying guide

A birthday gift for someone who wants this kind of setup.

RG Cube can be a considered gift for an adult who enjoys classic games, Android customization or distinctive handheld formats. It is less suitable as an unexplained surprise for someone expecting a large screen and every remembered game ready immediately. Ask about their preferred games and willingness to manage apps before choosing the tier.

Match the color to their taste, then verify the package, any required software and the intended first-use experience. A BAG label should be selected explicitly when that is the package you want. Do not plan the gift around an unverified game count, a pictured duck screen or a delivery date inferred from an old promotional badge.

For arrival planning, use the current shipping information for the destination and leave time for setup. A gift scenario does not establish a child-safety or age-suitability certification. The buyer should understand the device and software requirements before presenting it as ready for a particular recipient.

25 / RG Cube buying guide

What the accessory evidence actually shows.

ANBERNIC’s model accessory list names a USB charging cable, color box, manual and tempered-glass screen protector. The existing package artwork also depicts cleaning wipes, and bag-package artwork shows a carrying bag. These are manufacturer and listing references, not a fresh physical inventory of each selected carton.

The With-tier removable media is not visible in those layouts. If that addition or a particular accessory determines your choice, confirm its contents for the exact color and Bundle combination. Unpictured extras are unconfirmed, not automatically proven absent. Likewise, a pictured item should not be expanded into an undocumented specification such as a certified drop-proof case.

Keep your order record with the selected labels. On receipt, compare the actual parcel with the ordered package and contact support about discrepancies before discarding packing materials. No assumption about factory sealing, individual testing, a wall charger or a complete TV kit is added to the evidence.

Model-family images: purple is reference only.

The following original gallery sources include the manufacturer’s purple finish. This product currently offers Grey, Black, Beige White and the corresponding BAG labels, not Purple. These images are retained for model-family context and technical illustration, with the color limitation stated here rather than silently suggesting another order choice.

Family color photographs can help explain a control or cooling layout. 36 direct answers before you choose.

Is this the Android RG Cube or RG CubeXX?

This is ANBERNIC RG Cube. The manufacturer lists Android 13, Unisoc T820 and 8GB RAM. Do not transfer RG CubeXX specifications because the names or square screens look similar.

What is the screen size and resolution?

The manufacturer specifies a 3.95-inch IPS multi-touch panel with OCA full lamination and 720 × 720 resolution. This is a square panel, not a wide-screen panel.

Will every game fill the screen correctly?

No single layout suits every game. Preserving a non-square original aspect ratio can leave unused space. Stretching changes proportions, while cropping can hide part of the image.

How many combinations can I select?

There are six Color labels crossed with three Bundle labels, giving 18 combinations. Select both values and read the current purchase-area price.

Which Color labels are offered?

Grey, Black, Beige White, Grey BAG, Black BAG and White BAG. The BAG wording is part of the first selector; capacity is selected separately.

Can I order the purple unit in the family pictures?

Purple appears in original model-family artwork but is not a current selectable color on this product. Do not choose another label expecting purple to arrive.

What does Grey look like in the source?

The Grey package artwork depicts a pale body with burgundy controls and accents. It should not be interpreted as a uniformly dark-grey device just from the name.

Is Beige White transparent?

The source depicts an opaque light beige-white body with white controls and colored face buttons, not a transparent or crystal shell. Exact appearance varies with photography and lighting.

Why does the bag option say White BAG?

The selector uses White BAG while the matching light-color bag artwork says Beige White + Bag. Keep the actual selected label and confirm the finish if that distinction determines the purchase.

Does a BAG label mean a tested protective case?

The bag-package artwork depicts a black carrying bag beside the console. It does not establish water, drop or crush protection, internal dimensions or space for every accessory.

Does Machine Only have internal storage?

ANBERNIC lists 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage for RG Cube. The Machine Only label does not mean that internal storage is removed. System and app use reduce free space.

Is With 128G the same as the internal 128GB?

They are separate descriptions: one is a Bundle label, the other is a manufacturer model specification. Confirm what additional physical media and contents the selected With tier supplies.

Does With 256G increase RAM or speed?

The package label does not specify a different processor, RAM or screen. Additional storage capacity is not a hardware-performance upgrade.

How should I choose a capacity tier?

Estimate your intended local files and maintenance space, then clarify the selected package contents. Choose for actual use rather than an advertised game total or the largest number.

Are 15,000 games confirmed as included?

No verified selected-variant game inventory establishes that total here. Current capacity labels and model platform support are not evidence of a particular supplied game library.

Is the duck on the package image an included game?

The duck image is illustrative screen artwork. It does not identify an included playable title or demonstrate the ordered unit running software.

Does Android 13 guarantee Google Play certification?

No. An Android version alone does not establish certification, installed stores or availability of an app in your region. Check the specific app and current setup you need.

Will every Android game use the physical buttons?

Control support depends on the app. Some games are touch-oriented or require mapping and settings. A touchscreen and gamepad-style layout do not guarantee universal controller support.

Is every PS2 or GameCube game guaranteed?

No. Manufacturer platform advertising is not a per-title benchmark. Emulator version, renderer, settings and the particular game affect behavior; assess the titles that determine your purchase.

What processor and RAM are specified?

ANBERNIC lists Unisoc T820 with Mali-G57 graphics and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. These are manufacturer model specifications, not measured frame rates or a test score.

Does the 5G chipset graphic mean mobile data?

Do not infer cellular service, a SIM slot or a data plan from chipset wording. The manufacturer lists dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 as the handheld wireless connections.

What is the maximum advertised card expansion?

The manufacturer advertises microSD/TF expansion up to 2TB. Card format, software and actual usable space still matter, and this does not imply that a 2TB card is included.

Are Hall sticks guaranteed never to develop drift?

Hall sensing is a listed control feature, not a lifetime guarantee for the complete mechanism. Calibration, wear and other faults remain separate considerations.

Can I adjust the RGB rings?

ANBERNIC lists multiple light effects with color and brightness adjustment. Lighting customization is not a performance upgrade or proof of a particular battery duration.

Does it have active cooling?

The manufacturer lists a high-speed fan and active heat dissipation. The airflow graphics are illustrations, not measured temperatures, noise levels or thermal-test results.

Will the battery always last seven hours?

Seven hours is the manufacturer-advertised estimate. Workload, brightness, wireless use, fan, lighting and device conditions change runtime. It is not a guaranteed minimum for every game.

What charging specification is listed?

ANBERNIC lists 5V/2A charging and approximately three hours to full charge. Follow device instructions and use suitable equipment. The figure is not a promise in all conditions or proof of an included wall adapter.

Can it connect to an external display?

The manufacturer specifies USB-C DisplayPort output up to 1080p. The appropriate cable or adapter, display, audio path and app behavior must suit your setup; the handheld panel remains 720 × 720.

Are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth included as model features?

ANBERNIC lists 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. This does not establish compatibility with every peripheral or online multiplayer for every app and emulator.

Does streaming include a gaming PC or service?

No such inclusion is established. Streaming requires a compatible app, network and relevant host or service. Confirm the square-screen layout and controls for your intended workflow.

What accessories appear in the package references?

The manufacturer lists a USB charging cable, color box, manual and tempered-glass protector. Artwork also depicts wipes, with a bag in BAG compositions. These references are not a new physical inventory of each selected carton.

Is it sold as new?

Our store sells new products, not used or refurbished stock. That does not independently establish factory sealing, individual testing or identical accessories in every carton.

How big and heavy is RG Cube?

The manufacturer lists 15.3 × 8.6 × 1.8cm and approximately 0.26kg. Account for sticks, controls and any carrying bag when assessing practical fit.

Is it a suitable birthday gift?

Consider it for someone who wants this square-screen Android format and understands setup. Match games, color, package and delivery planning rather than relying on a game count or a promotional shipping badge.

Do the old badges establish 24-hour dispatch or one-year warranty?

No. Those promotional badges are not adopted as current offer terms. Use the applicable store shipping, returns and warranty information rather than inferring a promise from legacy artwork.

What should I confirm before checkout?

Confirm the exact RG Cube model, preferred game layouts, both selected option labels, meaningful package contents and current selected price. Review destination-specific checkout information and keep a separate backup of important files.

30 / RG Cube buying guide

Choose the square-screen experience you will actually use.

Our verdict: RG Cube makes sense when you deliberately want a compact square touch display, Android flexibility and the listed T820/8GB hardware. It is not the universal answer for wide-screen games, an unexplained Linux replacement or a guarantee that every remembered title is already installed. Start with your favorite games, then select the shell, bag package and capacity that serve that plan.

  1. Choose the correct Android RG Cube, not another Cube model.
  2. Decide whether the square panel suits your normal games and reading distance.
  3. Select the precise Color and Bundle labels together.
  4. Clarify additional storage and any decisive package accessory.
  5. Use the current variant price and destination-specific checkout information.
  6. Prepare a simple setup and keep important saves backed up separately.

The manufacturer specifications help explain the hardware. The package references help explain what is pictured. Your selected order defines what you purchase. Keeping those roles clear makes the decision more useful without losing the pleasure of choosing a distinctive handheld.
